Marco & Melissa

Marco & Melissa November 2007

I have known Marco & Melissa for a number of years and was very happy to be asked to photograph their wedding. I arrived at their house and was really pleased with the location, the house was filled with lovely natural light, and freshly painted walls. Jeff & Marilyn (Melissa’s Mum & Dad) have been doing some renovations and the house was a photographers dream, Jeff has done a great job, wish I could shoot all my weddings in that house.. Well done.

Melissa looked wonderful, all the dresses, including the bridesmaids were all made by Betty (Melissa's grandmother... Got to love a Granny that can sew like that..) And she did a wonderful job, all the girls looked great.

We left the house for the service in All Saints in the city in a procession of London Cabs. (Mine leading. Did i mention i own a 1972 London Cab...)

Stephen Jones from Arana Photography helped me with the shooting of this wedding it was really great to shoot with another photographer of Stephens experience.

From the church we went to the Stamford Plaza and down to the river for the photos, I really love shooting at the Stamford, it’s a great location and endless possibilities. We had a lot of fun and the relaxed mood really shows in the images.

The reception was held at Gambaro’s Italian restaurant on Caxton St. Great food, nice atmosphere and a great night was had by all..

Congratulations Marco & Melissa the day ran smoothly and without a hitch.
